Yes! We provide 24/7 emergency service for all major brands of walk-in coolers, freezers, and reach-in units. We understand that refrigeration failure can lead to costly inventory loss, so our technicians are available around the clock to get you back up and running.

Based in Lubbock, SPECS Refrigeration has been serving businesses, schools, churches, and medical facilities throughout Lubbock and the West Texas “South Plains” region since 1991.
Do you handle specialized scientific or laboratory equipment?
Absolutely. We specialize in ultra-critical temperature controls for scientific environments. Our expertise includes blood bank coolers, growth chambers, lyophilizers, incubators, and ultra-low temperature freezers (-80°C). We are also the Authorized Service Provider for Thermo Fisher Scientific in West Texas.
Do you provide HVAC services as well?
Yes, we are a full-service provider. In addition to commercial refrigeration, we install and service all major brands of air conditioners, heat pumps, and furnaces. We also offer HVAC maintenance plans to help prevent expensive breakdowns during the peak of summer or winter.
What is included in your ice machine maintenance program?
Our program is incredibly thorough. We perform a complete disassembly of the unit to clean every internal and external surface. The service includes a specialized two-step de-scaling and sanitization process, a full check of all mechanical parts, and the installation of new filters. Our goal is to ensure your machine runs longer, stays efficient, and produces the highest quality ice.
